TOWER ROAD PARK
This will be the first new park built in Northfield in decades.
The Northfield Park District and Village have adopted an intergovernmental agreement allowing the Park District to develop a “pocket park” in the Tower Road right-of-way just south of Temple Jeremiah. The proposed park will include a small playground, benches, drinking fountain, bike rack, landscape enhancements, as well as connections to the nature walking trail and future Skokie Valley Bike Trail.
Fundraising Goal: $500K + $375K for lifetime maintenance
The typical lifetime for a playground is 15 years with annual maintenance costs of $25K.
