Our vision, mission, values & objectives
-
Increase public awareness of the importance of the Foundation to Northfield residents.
-
Broaden the pool of donors so all residents feel connected to and proud of the communities’ parks, programs and facilities.
-
Create an endowment to enable future park district expansion opportunities, including land acquisition, to ensure its ability to support our growing and changing community.
“An investment in Northfield’s parks is an investment in the vibrancy and resiliency of our community and the health and wellness of our residents today and for generations to come.”
Why the NFLD Parks Foundation is important.
The Northfield Parks Foundation (NPF) was formed with the goal of supporting the Park District in the delivery of recreation programs, sports fields, park services and facilities, as well as providing healthy outdoor areas for the Northfield community.
The Foundation has continuously raised money to provide improvements and enhancements, many specifically requested by Northfield residents and families.
The Northfield Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity. Donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
